Cameron Hankin's relationship with horses began in the competitive world of horse racing. Working alongside some of Australia's finest thoroughbreds, he developed an intimate understanding of equine health, performance, and the often-overlooked importance of dental care.
It was in the racing industry that Cameron first observed how dramatically dental issues could affect a horse's performance, temperament and overall wellbeing. Sharp points causing mouth ulcers, wolf teeth creating bitting problems, uneven wear affecting grazing ability — these were issues he saw time and again, and he became determined to specialise in solving them.
After qualifying as an equine dental technician, Cameron settled in Berry on the NSW South Coast — a region he'd fallen in love with for its rolling green hills, strong equestrian community, and relaxed pace of life. Today, he travels throughout the Shoalhaven and Illawarra regions, treating everything from weekend trail horses to high-performance competition horses.
